Default Can You Run it.com lies to me

Can you run it.com is lying, it says I can't run Halo: Combat Evolved on my computer, which I know is complete as my rig can run Empire (medium), Napoleon(medium), and Shogun 2(low) fluently.

I was wondering if anyone else has this problem where it always fails you, no matter what game it is.

ive never used the site, mainly because since 2007 ive never had a computer that couldn't run a game on max or near max settings , what is your rig? Im assuming the website is gathering incorrect data on your system

I don't trust the site. It even gives bad info on M2TW because its database is out of date.

I used to use it for rough estimates, but it doesn't really work right if just one thing you have on your computer is bad. It pretty much just bases it on the worst thing you have in your computer, so if you have, say, a processor that is exactly the minimum requirement, it will rate your computer at that. That's pretty much the problem I have. It pretty much says I can't run a single game on the website because of my crappy processor, even though it could run most of them that I test.

I've had the opposite. I tested my non-gaming PC to see if it would run Call of Duty 2, and it almost maxed the bar out. It wouldn't just run it, it would run it at almost maximum settings.

I could only just get past the main menu before it crashed my PC.
