Just asking. It took me a year to download 6.1 on dial up(Combined total of 2 weeks, but I gotta do other things man!)
So yeah, am I really missing out by not being up to date?

Oh yes you are - I moved from 6.2 to 6.4 and to me it's a whole new dimension to the game![]()

Whats the big new features in it? And why was Ireland removed? <_< I saw that the Templar and Kingdom of Jerusalem were compiled, so why no room for Mother Eire?
I might try downloading it if its not too big. 1.34GB for 6.1 was brutal though, and it was a ****y torrent too. GameUpdates doesnt like me. Guess I could get my lady to download it for me and send it to me though
Damn, this must be exchausting!
Man, PM me your address and i will send you DVD disc with SS 6.3 + 6.4 burned!
What an effort, rep given! Lemme know if you want me to send you updated version bud![]()

Hahaha thanksI'll just get my lady to do it when I do that again. Couple of other mods here are sounding pretty good(The Last Kingdom sounds good)
And thanks for the rep :-P I heard about Stainless Steel, and since dial up disallows me from having anything new, ever, I decided to get it. I had just come off of downloading Europa Barbaroum for Rome TW(Using their site and a Download Manager), took me a month to do it, so I figured Stainless Steel wouldnt be too bad XD
Totally worth it though, its hilarious that these mods are better than the base game. Historical, and more flavourful
Ya you'll miss out on its some of its benefits but you might be peeved off by the slow turn times and the dubious faith wars feature they included.
It has a few bugs, but definitely worth playing. I really like it. And mad props man, you're one dedicated player!(The Last Kingdom sounds good)
I know right! I really can't believe, every time I play any of the mods on here, how ALL of them are WAY better than Vanilla. I'm so glad I discovered this site because it's breathed new life into the game like nobody's business!Totally worth it though, its hilarious that these mods are better than the base game. Historical, and more flavourful
As a side note, you should try Third Age as well if you haven't already!![]()

It heartens me alot, since im into some odd political stuff, to see these mods made, and how much better they are XD You dont have to throw billions of dollars at people to get **** done, people will produce better things with little to no profit motive, for fun, just to do it, or for the love of the product
Right now, I have Stainless Steel 6.1 with Battle for the Baltic 2.0(Thats pretty awesome, just wish my precious Ireland was there), Invasio Barborum 2: Convestus Britanniae(playing the hell out of it), Das Helieg Romanisch Reich, and Call of Warhammer
I have Chivalry 2 Sicilian Vespers 3.0 too, but I cant get it to work. The patch wont install, and I cant get any campaign going. Also, it has a severe lack of Ireland.
What version do you have now? The move from 6.3 to 6.4 isn't huge for me but has some noticeable features. Probably the versions with the most submods are best. So 6.2 and 6.4 have the most compatible mods I think.
Required mods for me are BADAI and BGR... otherwise I try out many but haven't stuck with them. RollingWave's mod has the most potential of current SS mods but needs a bit more work. BftB is probably the most complete SS mod with many new additions.
