Tablet Recommendations?

Having failed to buy Oblivion (silly shop had run out), I’ve instead put my energies to considering what else I could spend my hard earned cash on, and I’ve decided that a graphics tablet might be a good idea for skinning and other various artistic things. Firstly, I have £40 earmarked for one at the moment, but I should be able to increase that if needs be. Secondly, I live in Britain so I have to watch out for massive shipping fees. Finally I’ve heard that anything smaller than A5 isn’t really worth getting, how true is that?

I bought a tablet, and I hardly ever uses it. So my recommendation to you is to not get it, I only use it when I feel like drawing something in MS Paint. Also good and accurate tablets are expensive, and if you get a cheap one like me, you will be dissappointed.
