Hiring illegal immigrants
As much as I dislike illegal immigration, I don't think they should be exploited by both big and small companies. No, the illegal immigrants shouldn't be here. Yes, they should receive the same wages for doing the same work. It's only fair. Wal-Mart has given me yet another reason to despise that monstrous chain.

I don't think that the immigrants should be exploited but remember that they are illegal. The immigrants have entered the country illegally and should be deported or become legal, the companies should be fined for hiring these people who don't pay tax and taking advantage of them.

most of those jobs that the legal population doesn't want. It's the same with every new wave of immigrants. They take the jobs that those who have been assimilated don't want. It happened with the Irish, the Blacks, the Italians, the Eastern Europeans and now with the Hispanics. Now, that said, the majority of those who came before the Hispanics entered legally. But I agree that the issue with illegal immigration should be dealt with. So I say either they assimilate and we make them legal or we deport them.

I don't know about America but in Britain it's not that we don't have a workforce to do the more menial jobs, it's that the rate of pay for unskilled labour is so low that they can't tempt anybody to do it. We still have around about 1.5 million unemployed in Britan, so we don't need illegal immigrant labour, it's just that the difference between someone taking a low paid job or remaining on benefits is not enough in financial terms to make it attractive.
So, if companies paid a decent wage in the frirst place they would'nt have to rely on labour from abroad.

option #2, companies need to pay a price to realize they cant abuse people with basically unlivable wages and the only reason they get away with it is because they are illegals. Exploiting people is exploiting people regardless of their legal status, that said illegals also have no business in the country. I hardly have anti immigrant views but I do have anti illegal immigrant ones, if want to come to this country do so legally.

That's rubbish. They are stealing jobs, causing crime, destroying immigration, and ruining the economy. They charge less for themselves and they put other American workers out of jobs. It is the same reason why slavery was abolished: slaves destroy competition because they can sell themselves for cheaper than minimum wage. Crime is caused because they're paid so badly an illegal activity is a natural reaction. Real immigrants have to go through long processes and I think they would be ****** off to see illegals just walking into the country they had to apply for.
Since when should America give a damn about any other citizen of a foreign country?!!! The American government looks out for the American people!
