Game is running in the upper left corner of my screen, but not in a window??? plz help!

Hi, after a couple of days of trying to get this mod to work, I finally have but in appears in only in the upper left hand corner of the screen. it is not in a window (with a maximize, minimize, exit type thing) but just sort of sitting there.

by the way I have windows 7 64 bit, steam

If there is anything else I should post to help you guys please let me know

It indeed runs in window (kinda), just raise the resolution to fit your screen. I believe there is a way to disable the window-mode too, but I don't know where.

I actually have another problem now, I think I have heard about this error somewhere but I can't remember what to do to fix it so...
when I go to play a chaos storm campaign I can select all the option but then when I hit start it brings me back to the single player menu.

edit: it seems to have solved itself
buuuttttt now there is a new problem, the game crashes on the last faction before I get to turn three after I hit the end turn button at the end of turn 2.
Is there anything that can solve this?

If someone could help me with this it would be greatly appreciated.

It is usually an action performed by the faction that causes the crash.

When the AI is making their turns, press spacebar and enable toggle_fow ( In the ` menu. ) and see which action causes it.

Then there is this teleport cheat. Teleport the character to another location and prevent the action happening at all.

You should be able to continue then and with a bit of luck you would be able to skip the teleport cheat. ( It somtimes, somehow prevents the crash from happening if you witness it with the toggle_fow cheat on. Odd and fishy. )

This windowed game thing is a left over of developing the mod, I use it when I need a visual reference while modding text files. Simply change the [video] section in the CFG file of CoW (opens with Notepad) to read like this (did that for my CoW installation version):
