    Default Spartan Hoplite Question

    I am at this moment busy to mod the Greek Spartan Hoplite. I also want to make it available for Macedon. It worked but when I want to recruit them with Macedon they got the right skills but if got the wrong skin. (The skin of the passants:S) Anyone knows how to fix this?

    Not absolutely sure but think it could be this, find reference to their soldier in
    descr_model_battle.txt, should look something like this:

    type greek_hoplite_spartan_pylos
    skeleton fs_spearman, fs_swordsman
    indiv_range 40
    texture greek_cities, data/RTR/models_unit/textures/greek_spartan_hoplite.tga
    texture slave, data/RTR/models_unit/textures/greek_spartan_hoplite.tga
    model_flexi data/RTR/models_unit/greek_sacred_band_high.CAS, 15
    model_flexi data/RTR/models_unit/greek_sacred_band_med.CAS, 30
    model_flexi data/RTR/models_unit/greek_sacred_band_low.CAS, 40
    model_flexi data/RTR/models_unit/greek_sacred_band_lowest.CAS, max
    model_sprite greek_cities, 60.0, data/RTR/sprites/greek_cities_greek_hoplite_spartan_pylos_sprite.spr
    model_sprite slave, 60.0, data/RTR/sprites/greek_cities_greek_hoplite_spartan_pylos_sprite.spr
    model_tri 400, 0.5f, 0.5f, 0.5f

    Add the lines
    texture macedon, whatever the rest of the line says for the greeks
    and
    model_sprite macedon, whatever the rest of the line says for the greeks
    below the texture and model_sprite greek_cities lines and that should hopefully send it looking for the right texture.

    Ya, makanyane is right - you need to add the macedon faction under the spartan's descr_model_battle in order for the game to implement the spartan texture for macedon

    no... thats wrong hes talking about the unit cards and info pic, you ahve to get that extractor tool and go into the packs folder and then copy the files into the macendon folder form the greek cities folder....

    Well, he does say "skin" which would imply a unit texture. Rereading it however, he probably is talking about the ui. Just a little miscommunication is all
