    Default [Solved] Geforce Gtx 580 no sound

    So I just got a 580 and after installing it I have no sound. Advice? I can also provide specs for my computer if needed.

    It probably set HDMI audio to default after it was installed, you can go to windows sound settings to check

    Nope apparently Nvidia installed it's own sound system which was superseding my speaker system. I fixed the problem by using system restore and then removing the audio from the new installation.
