    Default Uprising in Cilicia

A force of 8,000 Cilicians (levy) under the leadership of General Anicetus has risen up in revolt. Sympathizers have seized control of all ports in Asia Minor and sent the small garrisons fleeing toward the Greek mainland. The rebels have set out to free all of Asia Minor from Roman rule and influence. They have started to march to Lycia, burning and slaughtering Roman citizens as they make their way west. If they are allowed to sack Lycia it is probable they will bring their fight to the Greek mainland in an attempt to rally support with the Greek cities and to undermine Roman trade in the region.

Upon hearing of this the Pro-Consul Tiberius Julius Caesar mobilizes the I Adiutrix and levies 600 archers and 200 Thracian Cavalry

    (- 5,000)

The newly reinforced legion is to await for ships to be gathered in Athens and then sail toward Lycia to reinforce the city and prepare for battle.

Anicetus speaks to his men, of the value of not killing unless you have to. He orders that any roman encountered should be crucified as the Romans so like doing. But anyone of Greek or otherwise decent, should be spared. Food should be brought if possible, manners upheld. He stresses that making friends of all except the Romans is of value to their cause.

With the ships constructed and Caesar now present, the legion makes it's way to Lycia to begin preparation for invasion.
