Patch Issues + Game Question(s)
I am running windows 7, everything is being ran as admin.
Every time I try installing the 2.1a patch it keeps telling me that some of the files can not be copied, others say access is denied, which is confusing cause it's being ran as admin. The total errors I get after trying to install is the patch is: 2,228.
Also, it's been awhile since I have played RTW or RS so I had some questions. I normally choose a faction based on it's starting size (smaller = better). However this RS II asks me to pick a faction before I even lunch the game (which means I can not see the size of the starting area's) yet the video I saw on youtube for RS II was showing the faction selection as normal. What am I doing wrong?Thank You

Re: Patch Issues + Game Question(s)
Hmm, for the first one have you redownloaded the patch and tried again?
Second point, the launcher is used because each faction is, in effect, a mod by itself. The problem is nobody added a faction map for each faction on the launcher.
However, that will (hopefully) be fixed with 2.2!

C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War\
Also, where are the saved games at? I started 2-3 and I would like to delete them, but can not find the folder.

Re: Patch Issues + Game Question(s)
We recommend installing outside of program files, because of the errors it throws up.
try reinstalling RTW to C:/RS2, reinstall RS2 over that, then the patch.
Saved games are under each faction folder, in the saves folder.
