Default New to the mod, some questions!

hey guys, new to XC, and im really enjoying it, the developers have done a great job creating such an in depth and enjoyable campaign.

i've tried using the search tool and looking at peoples comments on the economy and how to make yours stronger etc, but there are a few things that i dont understand.

in my Sarmatian campaign i hold everything from chigu (the most north eastern settlement) to tuetoburgo, the germanic capital, and down to tylis. in every settlement i have a local governor and 1 or 2 units of steppe spearman. i have a small number of steppe horse archers above armenia incase they attack, along with 3 or 4 family members, and the same where parthia, mine and the seleucid empire meet. in thrace i have 2 armies, both about half stack of 3 or 4 family members in each (3 gold chevrons now, they're pretty good!) and the 7 or 8 steppe horse archers. what i dont understand is how i can have such cheap, small armies and even though i've upgrade nearly all the settlements i can to atleast stationary garrison and upgrade all the markets, ports, grain imports, silk road how i can still only be getting 5 or 6k a turn.

also, i have the same problem as another thread as only being able to make the original 3 god temples, and none of the law ones. the tax bonus one, the population bonus, and the experience bonus one.

also i cant play as baktria/ they dont exist in campaign but do in custom battle.

also, if there is a local factional government building in the settlement can you make all your barracks, regardless of local culture? like in greece where its hellenic (not the western civilised bit) and sarmatians is nomad, if it has a local factional government can i get 3 or 4lvl barracks?

playing with the most recent version, 1.15 delta i think.

thanks very much, loving the mod!

All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost, The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost, From the ashes a fire shall be woken, A light from the shadows will spring, Renewed will be blade that was broken, The crownless again shall be king.

Grain Imports actually makes you lose money due to trade, not gain.
It's used as a temporary way to increase population rapidly.
You can demolish them if you do not need them.

I'd also suggest that you build only the temples that give law or income bonus
Law reduces the money you lose by corruption and income... well it is income.

You should build temples with farming/growth bonuses as Sarmatia, low population is the main reason to bad steppe economy.
Also, get the crimean settlements ASAP and build them up with trade agreements, it will be a boon for your income.

For each capital you take (you must have a couple i suspect) you will take a cumulative faction-wide law-hit, so that could also be a reason for large amounts of corruption.
