    Default tweak formations for SPQR 6?

    hello darth - i've been playing SPQR 6 and managed to try your formations with. they work nicely so far except for macedonian, and especially greek armies. both tend to more frequently include large numbers of the SPQR-specific "sword hoplite" (no spear) unit, while in the latter, the phalanx special formation abilty has been removed completely. this seems to throw things out of whack, and so such armies become much easier to defeat.

    any chance you might get around to do a little tweaking to see if you can make a version of your formations customized for SPQR?

    It is true. These armies depend almost completely by phalanx formation AI scripts. If a mod does not use the phalanx attribute, the formation are ruined.
    There is a problem tothis you ask. SPQR is cooperating with sinuhet for formations. I want to keep good relationships with both lt and sinuhet and by doing smthg like this without them to ask me ...it is out of the question.
    Generally I help various modders for various things with PM and when I am asked I always help if I can handle my time.

    If you are like me, and have re-incorporated the phalanx back into SPQR 6.0, then DarthMod Formations will work fantastically.

    does that mean that the greek phalanxes would no longer use the overhand spear animation?
