Default Accuracy of the Franks in BI

I noticed that the Franks are a Christian faction in BI. The mod starts at too early a date for this. Why are they Christian when they should be pagan? Also, how accurate is the frankish army in BI?

Weren't they Christianized when Clovis took the throne at 481? They probably were pagan earlier then.

The Franks start of as pagans and after that you get the choice between pagan and Christian. Or are we talking about another BI?

They got the Fransisca heerban in the game so that's allready one correct thing.

The thing is the franks can't be really accurate because they have complicated history i mean to be accurate they would have to work in the pope which would massively complicate things in rome cus a frankish king became emperor in the last days of rome who was appointed by the pope, so the frank faction leader would be leader of 2 factions for a brief time so if you are playing as the romans do you lose control to the franks and if you are the franks do you play as 2 factions and if you conquer a city does it become roman or frank and then when this period is over what happens to the situation? and lets face the game itself is not historically accurate and if it was it would be no where near fast paced and fun and if it was historically accurate then you wouldnt be in control also history is to complicated to program into a disc and RTW BI is a strategy/warfare game not a documentary thats what it says on the box and thats what it is.

well i think the opening post ment for the accuracy of units.

i'd say the francisca/axe/sword units are ok. but their stats are pretty broken lol: you should spam axe herbann, the other infantry are weaker than it.
btw vanilla BI needs serious unit rebalanceing
