    Default New Computer

Okay, my computer is around 3 months old, so I was wondering, would it have PCI-Express slot? What would it look like if I looked inside?

It's not that hard to do a simple google image search to see what you're looking for

You'll be looking for something similar to this if you look into your computer.

Break it open and find out.

What manufacturer is it? Who made the parts inside?

The computer is from HP. Not sure who made the parts.

Slimshoom, I know, I am doing homework, so I wasn't really paying much attention when I posted it.

If HP gave you a manual check that.

Just open the thing up. You would have to do that to install the card anyway.

Yea, but I want to know before I buy the card, but yea, now that I know what it looks like, I'll check.

P.S.-It says that you need a PCI Express x16 slot.

The safest way is to open her up, check the picture plasticfigurine posted. A PCI-E motherboard usually comes with other PCI-E X1 slots, which is the really small slot under the big slot.
