    Default Name changing script.

As i am about to conclude my personal mod, there's one thing i am still missing.

I would like it so that, when you conquer Rome as either the Julii, Scipii, or Brutii, that your faction changes name from house of etc. to The Roman Empire.

Where and how can i implement this if it is even possible?

    Not possible.
You can do it manually by simply editing the files (and it's save game compatible, so you can just exit your campaign and rename your faction to whatever you want it when you conquer Rome), but no way to do it with scripts.

I can live with it, it is just a minor detail anyways, thank you for the reply!

try add a hidden faction which will not spawn until certain condition.

when the Rome is taken, uses, console_command kill_faction (your faction which has taken Rome) and then activate the hidden faction, and spawn new army in Rome.

Then the player would loose the game as his faction is killed when conquering Rome. Also, anything the player has achieved till then is gone, the family tree is gone, everything.

    Have to use

    console_command control <faction>

to switch to the hidden faction first, and then re-start the tree. For example, create the guy who conquered Rome as the emperor (Augustus), and the tree starts from scratch.

still: Imagine you have taken everything east of rome and then finally rome itself, while everything west of it is germany: And somehow you have an empire In italy, no provinces east, family members you donīt know...

While it is theoretically a solution, practically it is not playable.
