Framerate question

I've heard different opinions on SS, is it heavy on the fps or the inverse due to fixing bugs? Which gives faster gameplay for you vanilla or this?

Vanilla definitely runs better. SS includes graphical changes like blood and I think graphical improvements when set to highest. There's even an option for permanent arrows, which can destroy any rig (FPS-wise, not literally) given enough arrows.

However, SS can be runnable if you just set to lowest or mid.

I have a pretty good rig, so I keep it to medium-high in single player and low in multiplayer.
