    1. A Psychedelic Punk/Harcore band.
    2. A band like the Grateful Dead...except they're Metal.

    Probably not pyschedelic punk enough, but Rex Banner may be what your looking for.

    Sounds like normal Melodic Hardcore.

    I would think being psychedelic would preclude being punk or hardcore and vice versa.

    The metal jam band I could see.
