Barbarian Invasion Install Problem

Hail,
I Used to own the gold edition version of Rome total war and a couple of days ago I downloaded RSII again I put it down for a while and went vanilla and decided it was time to play it again now BI won't run so my response was to uninstall it but it won't uninstall and out of an act of despiration (yeah I know a bit melodramatic ) I took out all the BI files and Found a Torrent for BI and now it when I mount the BI game the menu pops up still saying to play BI is there anyway to fix this ?
Have the Gods deserted me ?!?!

So, do you own a commercial version of R:TW and/or R:TW BI or do you have a pirate copy?
