I need help for Multiplayer :((

OK this's a battle which i lose !

Basically i'm a noob in Multi so how can i improve my skill!? It's seem he just crush my flanks and my boys lose their will to fight so quickly !

In single player i often simply sent a stronger force again AI and win them with brute force but this's multiplayer

Every1 started once. Keep playing, and you notice your tactics will improve. If you play against AI, try ALWAYS to flank, even if your outnumbering it 10:1. This helps also.

1.You should have brought less archers(unless you want to go for a skirmish army).
2.Since it was in the dessert you should have considderd bringing camels, they have a combat bonus in desserts and frighten enemy cav because of their smell + He also had spearmen fighting your cav which worked in his advantage.
3.You were fighting a little uphill so he had an advantage.
4.Try to outflank him, make him move so he makes mistakes.

Go to the mp section. Also, don't listen to seutonious. Always bring 6 archers in low money games and also much cavalry. Infantry doesn't play a major role in low money with common cwb rules.

That was painful to watch...

Always be the one to attack your enemy. Your Cilbiarnii simply held their ground against a heavy cavalry charge , NO! Don't do that! If enemy cavalry are charging you, you charge them back, unless you are running away. You had the cavalry advantage, and the archer advantage. You should have stalled by retreating a little back, so your archers could do more damage. You also didn't attempt any flanking maneuvers with your general's bodyguard, Instead, he simply stood off to the side, blowing his horn. The general's bodyguard can change the tide of the battle, especially one as heavily armored as yours! You could have gone around and attacked his cavalry from behind, trapping him against your Cilbiarnii.

You need to micro better. Attack from two angles with your Cilbiarnii and the enemy cav will fold under the pressure.

He used a rush army. He had enough infantry to tie up your front units, and because he didnt get archers, his flanking troops were stronger than yours. what he did was really not that special. I'd advise trying the normal MP setup used by clans if you have the time:
CWB Rules
Grassy Flatlands
Clear weather, Mid Day
15000 Denarii.
This is generally considered to be the most fair setup for multi.

If that does not help you might want to consider finding a good player to train you. You could go half a decade and still not know all the little tricks about the game

Playing against the AI will not help him. The AI uses very tactics and armies.

It can be rather dangerous to ask for advice in the SP section. If you had asked about Vanilla they would probably have convinced you to play Rome on infinite money no rules battles. There is an entire MP section especially for these kind of questions, which is populated with some of the players from the clans out there. You have a much better chance of not getting stupid advice there.

Ah OK thanks. I think i'll take a look in the multi section.

Anyway we're all noobs so basically there're no rule (beside the forbidden of elephants and siege engine)! I may take the advantage of that by having more than 6 units of 1 kind
