well the format is explained at the top of the vanilla export_descr_unit file, but since i suppose your reading this now, i might as well explain some of it

the officer line states which 'officer' accompanies the unit in battle.

stat_pri and stat_sec are for the primary and secondary weapons. attack and charge values, etc

stat_pri_armour is for the armour; defence, shield, and armour values etc.

stat_cost is no. of turns to recruit, recruit cost, retrain cost, etc.

stat_mental is for the morale and how 'disciplined' they are - these triarii can line up in very straight lines, for eg.

again, if u have the vanilla version of this file these details should be explained at the top

ah ok so that means I can change the name of the units?
Also make them as tough as urban cohort?

To change the name of units look in export_units in the data\text folder.

yep, essentially you can change everything from the attack and defence values, turn, recruit, upkeep costs, morale levels, special abilities such as scaring infantry or inspiring nearby troops, etc. yep, u could make those triarii as tough as urban cohorts if u edited all the relevant stats
