Epic mod has a problem

i tryed to start a new campaign but it sprung back to the main menu. Then i noticed on the menu it said continue campaign so i clicked on it. Then a Dale campaign loaded and on the map which was black with white writing it said you need a campaign file loaded??

This is my first time using this mod and i really want to play the campaign.

dont know what to say exept reinstall RTW, RTW Alex and RTW LotR...

Before reinstalling RTW and LotR, check in your registry to see if there is no RTW entry anymore. Once the game and the mod are installed; try to delete the file map.rwm located in lotr/data/world/campaign and in lotr/data/world/base. Sometimes it could solve crash problems.

done that this moring and it still doesn't work!! its really p***ing me off

So I don't know. The only advice I could give is to remove again RTW and the mod, download again the mod, then install RTW and LotR. Sometimes a download could be corrupted and cause crashes.

And check if the mod and its patches are installed in the right folder, otherwise it can explain the campaign map error message.

still doesn't work i re downloaded the mod and unstalled everything that relates to rome total war and alx

Anyway you don't need BI to install LotRTW.

yh i know u dont need it but i had it installed before i installed lotr tw and have same problems...
