Default RTW and Windows 7 64 bit

Just curious. I am thinking of getting RTW and I did google search whether there will be compatibility issues. I found searches that went both ways. So, best bet is for me to ask players of RTW that have Windows 7 64 bit. Thank you.

I have it. No problems at all. Just don't install the game in the Programs folder (If you ever intend to mod).

I haven't had any problems with it. I installed it in a custom folder, and I permanently have the UAC turned off.

I have it on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit. And I run it in Windows XP SP3 Comp ability and it runs smooth as ever. No problems at all just like they mentioned above don't install it in the main program files if you intend to mod it.

Aside from that it runs fine

If you have crossfire, turn it off before playing RTW. The radar screen in RTW does not like crossfire for some reason.

Windows 7 64bit, no problems, patched 1.5, everything is OK.

I've played R:WT on both Vista and 7 64 bit systems with no problems.

Remember to install the game to a folder pther than "c:\program files (x86)" as this folder is 'protected' by Windows (saves, replays etc go to the 'appdata' or 'virtual store' area). If you install elsewhere all the files are where you would expect them to be!

I also turned off User Acconut Control (UAC).

Well, I donīt have problems, too. You just have to, as everyone here already said, install in somewhere which isnīt my programs.
