Doubt
Actually, i'm playing Medieval II, and i have a question for who have finished the game.
How i disable the new world? I end a grand campaign with the english kingdom, i got to 1700 and further, but America never be disabled, how i do it? I have to wait 1492/1500?
Sorry for my english, i'm still training.

Re: Doubt
Do you mean that you want to kill the American factions? Or you just want to get to America? Either way you have to wait for "The World is Round" event. I forget when that happens exactly but it is pretty late in the game. After that event you make the top of the line ship and sail to the Americas. If you got to 1700 you definitely should have gotten the message that the world is round, now you just have to do something about it.
Good luck!

Re: Doubt
Only the Carrack (and the Barglah, Grande Carrack, and Caravel) can sail to the new world.
To make a Carrack, you have to build the Naval Drydock, which is available at year 1400.
