This may have been explained to me at one point, but i don't remember, why does dlv get rid of the Late Generals Bodyguard (Armored Horse)? I remeber in an earlier version they were their, but now their not. This was one of my favorite units and I am wondering why they were removed (I dont see NE_Late Bodyguard in the export_descr_unit file.) I might be crazy, but I really wonder why such a great unit got chucked.

This was to create space for another unit, think it was for the new Polish Units.

I must say I disagree with getting rid of an extremely important unit that lots of factions have, in place of a unit that only one has... I don't get it, not an efficient use of unit slots

It's not really that important, it's just a more heavily armored version of the bodyguard unit. If you really want to achieve that, just make the Late Bodyguard unit a third-level upgrade for the regular Bodyguard. Might not be exactly the same in other stats, but it's somewhat redundant to have two different bodyguard units when the first is fairly powerful already. And its not just ONE Late Bodyguard, its NE Late Bodyguard, ME Late Bodyguard, SE Late Bodyguard, EE Late Bodyguard. And not that many players got far enough into the game to even reach Late Bodyguard.

Thank you for the explanation, but you can't make the horse change in an upgrade . I can change the character though (i'll have to give all euros the NE bodyguard in the model file).
