Yeah its just speculation... nothing solid like a storyline or script is released yet and they havnt even started shooting so thats a big sign it can collapse AGAIN.

Steven Spielberg himself announced it. I just searched for a random article which talks about it.

It is true. It will be a new Trilogy. Writer is apparantly still working on it but main story seemed to be done I believe.

Yeah I heard about this too, Spielberg confirmed that Jurassic Park 4 is being made and for me, a huge fan of the series, this is very good news .

I'm still not sure. If it brings something new to the table and has a good chase movie story, then I'm fine with it. I'd still rather see a mid-continuity reboot that keeps the first movie but redoes Lost World more like the book. But whatevs.

You'd never get Lost World done like the book until you got Jurassic Park done like the book. Character deaths alone make that one a dream.

What could they possibly bring new to the series?

Yes i find the lack of originality in these days and age, disturbing.
Also im sick of remakes, and covers. There is nothing new?

They better make this one good.More boobs and blood and a 18 rating for graphic content.We were all amazed when the 1st one came out but now we are used to these dinosaurs coming to life and its getting boring.So i say more death blood and boobs and a decent storyline whos with meeeeee

Seriously guys how many movies get scripts or stories written but fail to get produced and shot. Thousands. This isnt solid until the shooting begins and even then its not solid. Dont hold your breath guys, Berg announced this 20 years ago too and nothing happened, they had a story then too.

That's a looong way from being a movie.

At this point one might consider just starting over with original Michael Crichton book.

I'm curious to see what direction they do. I wouldn't mind seeing a company (BioSyn? Was that the other one?) trying to start there own park. Don't fall back on the older characters too much: maybe an adult Lex/Tim.

Then again, with Crichton six feet under, I'm not really sure of anything.

Assuming it gets made i am glad that Spielberg is directing this time, number 3 is possibly the worst movie i've ever seen.

I was wondering when they were going to revive this pre-historic series.

Looking forward to seeing how this is done - I'm with y'all, it may be lackluster, but we'll see!
