    I've been looking to purchase some historical novels recently and I came across the Warrior of Rome series on amazon. Are they worth buying? I'm interested in the opinions of posters here who have read the books without giving too much away in terms of plot lines.

    I haven't, but in case you see it later and want to ask - stay away from Ross Leckie's Punic war trilogy. It's pure BS.
