Now they not only watch and make fun of music videos, but also MTV shows like Jersey Shore.

The return of Beavis & Butthead after a 14 year hiatus is surely a sign of the End Times.

Not that that's necessarily a bad thing of course.

When (not if) they start ripping on Laga Gaga my life will be complete.

I just have some quotes very applicable:

"uhr, shut up Beavis"- Butthead

I didn't grow up with this show, however, seeing clips on Youtube made me excited.

I feel blessed to have grown up with B&B or the Simpsons when they where still the , instead of this wack weirdo sadistic poo-poo humour kids today get served.

Ug this is one thing contribution to american culture that should have every copy of video, audio, script, posters, merchandise whatever you collected and destroyed so that 1000 years from now whatever species replaces us isnt infected by it. Hell Mike Judge should be held accountable for crimes against all that is good in the world. God imagine a future civilization worshiping the Beavis and Butthead deities....Im sure there is a study somewhere showing this show actually made people dumber by watching it.

You clearly missed the point of this show. It's supposed to be social satire of America.

Not really. I mean you can take that out of it if you want, but it's not South Park, it's just supposed to be dumb.

No they clearly aren't. You might notice when watching the school sections of the show that they aren't what you might consider average, they are dumb lazy troublemakers that have given their principle multiple heart attacks.

I never "got" this show. I can see why some love it but... I just prefer a bit more plot/story in my shows.

That's not how "average" works.

All people in the series are portayed rather funny and stereotypical. Its not just about 2 dumb teenagers and often it portays and exposes modern western society quite well showing how trashy and or stereotypical we all are and espescially how trashy TV is.

From the principal, to the social worker(lol), to the grumpy neighbor, to the cynical suicidal girl in class etc.

Are they still going to make fun of music videos? MTV has changed quite a bit since this show has been on.

I think that's the main reason why people wanted them back, so they can make fun of Modern Pop.
