OK so im going to make a guide to the best type of unit and this one is chariots

i played all of these out 1 unit vs 1 unit and i will discuss the strengths and weaknesses of all of them

Briton heavy chariots
strengths: combat bonus in the snow, fast, has a swordsman on the back of it, scythe, has many hit points
weaknesses:small scythe, bad in deserts,

Egyptian chariots
strengths: combat bonus in desert, has 2 swordsmen on the back, medium scythe
weaknesses: bad in snow, not many hit points

Scythe chariots
strengths: has many large scythes, many hit points
weaknesses: has no swordsmen on the back, has no combat bonuses (i think) run amok

match ups
if they lost with there bonuses they did not do a rematch
Briton vs Egypt Grassy flat land no snow
Briton won barely

Egypt vs Scythe grassy flat land no snow
Egypt got wiped

Egypt vs Scythe Syrian flats
Egypt lost again

Briton vs egypt Syrian flats
Briton won with one chariot left

Scythe vs Briton grassy flat land no snow
Scythe won by a tiny bit

Scythe vs Briton grassy flat land snow
Scythe got beaten barely

conclusion:
Scythe chariots are beast but lose to archers
Britons chariots are the best when snow is involved and are in the middle when its not
Egyptian chariots are the worst chariots there are but that being said they will own any other cav unit except for ele

i have a good enough outlook a month is all you need to know that urbans are beast
i did this also to figure out the best units

True. I've beaten this game 4 times, been playing off and on for at least 3-4 years, have countless unfinished campaigns and even a few multiplayer matches. Yet I am still learning new things every now and then. For instance: I never knew until just recently that if you hit a phalanx of pikeman in the back with a unit or 2 of cavalry they will break almost immediately.

I should add a note that when I first started I learned from a major catastrophe that charging pikeman with cavalry was useless so I avoided attacking pikeman with cavalry at all costs.
