Seems they were going to implement a divorce feature into the game like Primo said. That could have meant queens etc would have had good/bad traits and you could get rid of them if they weren't good enough, like ministers in Empire and Napoleon
Cry God for Harry, England and Saint George!
Damn that would of been sweet...would of been nice for Med2 as well!
I wonder if they did this that a child from the bloodline (a girl) could divorce her husband if he got a whole bunch of horrible traits...or say he dies in battle at a young age...(therefore she cant have any children and is basically useless...)
Ah well maybe in Rome 2 they will but I doubt it
Wonder how hard it would be to mod something like that?
It doesn't work that way
Everything's added and removed via the exe, which is the engine.
Since modding the exe is illegal, mods can only change the existing mechanics of the game; you can't actually add or remove mechanics as that would be, well, illegal. We've got freedom to mod, but only within the boundries of the game. Divorces aren't in, so they also can't be modded in. Nothing can.
lol, Cleopatra's multiple affairs![]()
Is it really illegal to mod the exe? Your not stopping people or giving them a motive not to buy the game, so why would it be wrong?
I agree, and I, together with a few hundred other modders, have signed 20-ish petitions already, but CA won't give in. It's just impossibleIs it really illegal to mod the exe? Your not stopping people or giving them a motive not to buy the game, so why would it be wrong?
BTW, I should reword myself a bit. It's not illegal to mod the exe, it's illegal to then spread that exe around in any way. So no uploading to TWC, etc, etc.
For Cleopatra like Woman. Their would be a option to have the husband kill the wife. Since it would look bad on him if his wife was a Suspect of Rumors. He would kill her and then marry againlol, Cleopatra's multiple affairs
