Not only do I try to bring these things to TWC, but I know from experience what being a leader is about. From real life to being a moderator at TotalRome I know what it takes to make a community and keep it together while continuing to enlighten each other with quality posts, helpful advice, and the occasional joke to keep everyone in a good mood. I have often times peeked into the Symposium and have seen the quality threads and serious topics that are discussed there. This proves to me that not only do Civitates follow the rules of the forum, but they are the intellectuals that enjoy discussing the controversial and important issues in the world today. I would love the opportunity to be able to contribute to the TWC community in such a way.

I also was pretty involved with the creationism debates and existance of God debates awhile ago, but I realized that no answer could ever be reached so I kind of stopped with those as the arguements seemed to go around in circles. I always seem to see great threads in the Curia that I have responded to only to realize that I am not qualified  That always gives me a laugh.
He's very enthusiastic about wanting to participate in the Curia as well. In general he has been very active recently in the Thema Devia section.

Here as some examples of his posts; sure they might not be essays but they are still of good quality. He's a good poster.

But yes/no/abstain get so boring. Top is always yes, middle is always no, any further options are always abstain, unless stated otherwise. I'm not the only one who puts random stuff for vote options.

The top one is invariably the yes option

p.s. It's not actually American banter, it's quite a common way of "drawing lots" (as it were) among young children, I believe there's a French equivilent too. From the looks of it, you've gone with abstain.

    Think of it this way:
    Top option: yes
    Middle: no
    Bottom: abstain.

    Picked the top option.
