Any benefits for the simple web surfer with a 64-bit browser?
Adobe has released Flash Player 11 Beta which excellent 64-bit browser support. Up until this point you only had Flash Player Square, which had not been updated since November of 2010--it also had it's share of problems. Additionally, the recent 64-bit releases of the Firefox nightly builds (8.0a1 at this point) have been wonderfully stable and functional all-around. This solves the two major inconveniences I've experienced when trying to use a 64-bit browser.
When I see comparisons between the performance of different web browsers, I usually just see some javascript/DOM benchmarks that don't necessarily mean much for real-world performance.
I'm wondering if there is any quantifiable improvements for simple, and more relevant things like what is involved in web page loading times (disregarding, for the moment, the necessary effect of the speed of your internet connection). An example would be how fast the browser displays web-page contents after being downloaded (and/or elements of it, such as images, being read from a cache).
