    Default Fun factor of factions

My name is Wims and I have just recently downloaded this mod, a campaign as the white wolves. But I find my self drawn to other factions like sylvania and especially the orcs.
What faction do you think is the most fun?

    Thanks for any replies.

I personally like Reikland and Tzeentch.

Embrace the Fires of Change or face the wrath of Sigmar!

I like the Empire factions, Talabecland in particular. I love Dark Elves and High Elves in battle but im not too fond of their starting areas on the campaign map.

My initial game was played as Khorne but unfortunately I had not installed the game correctly and had to start from scratch. Once I fixed my issues I decided to play as Orcs and then Sylvania. I did play a very short Imperial campaign that resulted in me getting owned by Dark Elves in about 7 turns. Sylvania are quite hard as you are under constant attacks from everyone around you. Orcs are a bit easier as you only have to contend with a steady flow of Dwarves.

I tried the sylvania faction and it was fun but I did not understand the necromancy trait. My units were regenerated but I did not see any new units, even though I left three spots open.
    Please elaborate.

I think the Necromancy trait gives a huge bonus to reviving fallen units in battle if you win in the end of it.

I prefer any Empire faction. I have played most up to 100+ turns (and that is when the game is completed). And Kislev is kind of cool, but a bit incomplete, which for me ruined the experience.

I have tried to play with Sylvania but I did not like them very much as I prefer "personal" units, not mindless hordes.
Chaos factions I find unplayable since I lost intrest in 10 turns. I just hate the feeling of playing 80 turns against repeating enemies and the feeling that I am "cut off from the old world".

Border Princes are useless and not very intresting..

Orcs I have never tried, the only faction so far. Maybe I should give them a try.

    Do you know Warhammer lore?

Empire is my thing, specially Ostland becouse of it's challenge. Also Empire have most fun roster, mercs and spawning units. Sylvania is also really fun, it's bloody fun to command those mindless hordes, but they lack one thing that is very important to me, allies. With empire you can have pretty epic battles with many stacks, fighting alongside ai, priceless.

You get free "mercenary units" when playing as sylvania, this presents raising dead back to life.

Tzeentch, in my opinion, is one of the 'funnest' factions.

Using their sorcerers on disk units is simply fantastic fun! (Although, sometimes I get a little carried away and blow up my own army. )

Empire factions like Reikland and Ostermark are fun for me. Reikland is far from any danger (except those scripted greenskin invasions) and allows you to focus on developing your economy and armies. Ostermark because I played the Mark of Chaos Game. For Chaos factions, I like Tzeentch and Khorne. I've always been a fan of sorcery. Khorne? BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD! I once had a Khorne army stack at half-strength and still managed to own an empire full stack.

Got a question about the vamps, if I lose all my starting vampires will I never get another general with necromancer trait?

personally i think sylvania is the best. i have taken all of wisenland, and held off 2 full wissenland stacks with one stack of undead. i won the battle with 30 men remaining, and then got 1000 from regen

kislev is great fun.in open battle the army is fast because of superb cavalry.siege assault can be hard but with mortar batterys on hand ive not failed yet.
swarmed all over chaos,if they stand still my mortars smash them if they move my winged hussars cut them to pieces.

So far, I enjoys being High Elves the most, second to that will be Kislev.
High Elves have light horses & deadly missile cav in melee, moreover, the generals are tough like nails. Although their starting points and their conditions are downright horrid, but if you've put your hands on Shadow Warriors & White Lions, there's ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for you to be afraid of.

As for Kislev, I found myself exploiting the use of Militia Spear men, Streltsy & Winged Lancers far too much so there's nothing for me to be afraid of, & I really love the winter theme for Kislev, really relaxing!

    Sylvania is the most fun.

Read some lore, then start a campaign with some factions, try to learn which ones are your favorite in lore and campaign.

Then try playing some custom battle with the faction you choose, learn and master their units and tactics.

After that you should be able to know which factions you like most in campaign and battle, and then which one you'll choose for your first game.
It's only after you have lost everything, that you are free to do anything.

Its a throw up between Sylvania and the Empire factions, with the Dwarves as a close second.

Sylvania's units are just all around awesome, but the Empire has a great spot on the map, its really lively and you've got allies most of the time, then later in the game almost every time one of the factions will go to war with another and it gets all Game of Thronesy!

The Dwarves are fun when you want to reconquer the lost Karaks of the world. The renaming settlement feature is really fun here. Taking the deserts from the invading Orks, calling their fallen capital "Great Victory Colony" Every mountain settlement being called once again a Karak, every non mountain settlement a colony, IE: My very mighty "White River Colony" Ahhh, fun times.

Too bad i've kinda stopped playing. Waiting on Pilgrim to finish up that EDU! *Glares* Morrowind's sucking up my time untill the game is balanced but still lore accurate. Then I suppose i'll play the Empire, get tired of their voices and start back up on the Voice mod

Empire may be the most fun, simply because they have such an overwhelming number of units. Want Dwarfs? Check. Want Elves? Check. Want Undead? Check (the cursed company). Want giant mutha f*in tanks? Check.

Dwarfs come in a very close second though... they may even come in first after the awesome English Voice sub-mod (it really brings them to life).

Slayer pirates and GIANT kegs... does it get any better?
