    Default Modding advisor

Ok so I've only recently looked into this mod, and itall seems cool, but I cannot download it. I am currently constructiong y own mod (click sig) and someone suggested that I have some inspiration from this mod. I would like omeone accustomed to the game to advise me on some models to use from it, and after that, I would like the permission of the team to release my own versions of the moddels. I would prefer that someone PM me to aply for the possision. Him or Her must be able to send and recieve files of the game, and be able to reply to me...
I only wish to use models of units as a basis for my own creations, but if i think i might be able to use something else, I will ask the team

I was seduced by the title of your mod and knew exactly what it is by just hearing the name.

I also think it would be better for you to consider mod workshop forum.
    Linky: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=272

And to specify which models/files you wish to use and/or modify.

EDIT: Sorry Pilgrim, beat ya' to it.

    Well,

For one thing, I have no idea what Warhammer's models would have to do with the world of Alegasia. I'm not educated at all about the world you are modding other than it seems like it is the Eregon series just from the looks of your sig.

Secondly, there are tons of models in this mod. Which ones do you need? There are many screenshots in this thread that you can easily use to tell us which models you'd like to use (get permission from the team first).

Lastly, why can you not download this mod? There are plenty of download alternatives for you, you just have to look.

well there may be good uits like elves in it, and I could also use Third Age Total War for it, but im searching for a variety. Alagaesia contains elves. as for moddels, I was thinking about some type of elf, or something i could usre for Urgals, or dwarves (TATW maybe) also i hear there are magicians in CoW?
there are magicians in Alagaesia also

I'm sorry, but I know nothing about modding at all even though I'd loved to help if I could.

And there are the Bright Wizards and Necrarchs.

I believe every faction have own magic-unit in CoW. There is a lot of unique stuff that no other mods have. I suggest you download it and try it.

Seems you have ambitious project, I wish you good luck with it, hopefully we get to play it some day

    edit:

it doesn't make sense, and i don't like being confused.

And you are going to face a second problem, COPY RIGHT.
All of the models is from the warhammer universe, so I would advise you to only study how the weapon funktion, and how to add to your on mod.
Ps. Use the torrent, you really dont need it to work, just look on the script.

I believe he thinks that I am part of the team which I am not. I can't either give permission to use those and have no idea how it works, I am just doing the community a service by giving my advice and help.

And what does the Blood do?
@patatkraam, i know tthat you arent part of the team, but you can still send me copies of models in the game no? and i dont need the rights unless i release the mod into the public

did you know if you had downloaded the game you would have had your question answered by now? why should i waste my time describing every single magic attack in this game?
anyways il give you a very, very short summary: they are all like greek fire being launched from various distances decimating troops at varying power always whole squads or only a dozen troops will get killed depending on what you use, if you want to know more then download or use your imagination.

ignoring someone is always better than being ironic when you don't care to help him...especially when you still "help" him but bi...tch about it...or do it just to make your self stand out as the "smart" one...that's just lame!

even though some request may seem to have no sense ,courtesy doesn't cost a thing...

I think there really isn't much more to advice. Mages are men with siegeweapon ranged attacks, they only do damage, no healing, or something else. They are normal infantry-unit models, fights as them, run, etc.. I believe to get better answer, is just to try them by yourself..
