Coming of age bug... is there a fix?

Hiya,

In my current campaign as venice, I have had a son hit the age of 16 but not come of age! He is now 17 and still showing as a picture of a boy on my family tree, he is nowhere to be found on the map.. any ideas how to fix this?

Are you playing the original Medieval 2 Total War or some modification?

It is the original Med2 kingdoms with latest patch, its really weird, never happened before in any campaign.

I decided to start over anyway, as I like to keep my family tree well organised, hope it doesnt happen again!

I played through until he reached 25, but was still showing as a boy!

Sorry, I saved over it with my new campaign, it is with venice also, so if it happens again I will post it up for you to look at... but I hope it doesnt!
