    Does anyone knows the uniforms of the Boston Light Dragoons, Delaware Light Horse and Philadelphia Light Horse during the war?

    The First Troop of Philadelphia Light Horse had blue coats with red collar, cuffs, lapels and turnbacks, white metal buttons and white buttonhole lace and piping, white breeches, black boots, black leather helmet with bearskin crest, imitation leopard skin turban and white feather, dark blue housings edged with white lace (see attached image).

    The Boston Troop of Light Dragoons had blue coats with scarlet collar, cuffs, lapels and turnbacks, white metal buttons and white buttonhole lace and piping, scarlet breeches, black boots, black leather helmet with bearskin crest, scarlet turban and white feather, scarlet housings edged with white lace. Trumpeters were in reversed colours (see attached image).

    The Delaware Troops of Horse had had blue coats with red or buff collar, cuffs, lapels and turnbacks, yellow metal buttons and yellow piping, buff or white vests, buff breeches, black boots, black leather helmet with bearskin crest, blue or buff turban and red feather, dark blue housings edged with yellow lace. Trumpeters were in reversed colours (see attached image).
