An idea for TV

No, it's not a new TV show. Rather, it's about the ones that don't make it past the pilot.

A lot of pilot episodes are produced every year for potential shows and only a handful seem to get the green light due to the opinion of networks. I can't imagine how many potentially good shows could have never gotten the chance.

If this isn't being done (I'm not sure), why not release the completed pilots online or on DVD in bundles, and see the public's reaction to each pilot? Then the networks can decide for sure.

It would probably work better if they were released online to get public responses faster and ensure the main actors find out before they (possibly) get a new job...Lol.

What do you all think?

Hey, if they are going to infect TV with more reality shows, they can release pilots so we can see all the shows that could have been...Lol

All I'm saying is, it would at the very least be amusing to see what shows didn't make it. It wouldn't exactly cost much to release them online...
