help! units trained with no experience

Sometimes I train units that are supposed to have experience, but when they finish training, they don't have any. When this occurs, I can usually retrain the units and they get their proper level of experience on the next turn.

On rare occasions, though, I can retrain them forever and they never pick up any experience.

Has anyone had this issue?

I've seen this happen if in your training queue you have both units for retraining/upgrading and training of new units - could this be the case? If so, then try to only retrain during one turn ...

This is because you loaded a game, which causes the game to forget to apply exp bonuses from guilds and other buildings. Therefore, always re-queue units when loading a game.

Actually this bug is caused by saving a game. You should only add units to the training cue after saving the game if you want them to get extra XP. And then hit end turn.
