    Default Odd CTD issue

    I managed to get my game working by installing Call of Warhammer in both a Call of Warhammer folder and putting the same files in the Teutonic folder, before I tried that nothing seemed to work.
    Anyways, for a while it ran perfectly fine. Sometimes some AI actions made the game crash, but it was still playable.
    After a while of playing the AI repeatidly made the game crash, so I figured I'd take a break and figure it out later.
    Much to my surprise, the mod wouldn't boot up after I rebooted my PC. So I tried re-installing, using the torrent aswell as the 5-part download from mw2xboxplayer, which although both very helpfull, didn't help.
    At first when I re-installed with the torrent, it would boot up the splash screen and then crash. I tried re-installing with the original installer I still had on my PC, and that wouldn't let me access the campaign, eventhough the actual skirmish mode still worked.
    The 5-part download makes me crash aswell.

    I've tried running it with nothing installed in the teutonic folder and launching Call of Warhammer in the list, but that just gives me an error. I've tried running the .bat file as admin, ran the installer as admin, and tried using the steam mod installer.

    Nothing seems to work, and having been working on this for days trying to find useful information on the forums, I feel like I've exhausted the available options.

    I've preformed the post-install actions, and that didn't change anything either.

    I'm running on a win7 64bit system, bought Medieval 2 on Steam and am running with an AT 5770HD and an intel core 2 quad Q8300 2.5ghz quad core.

    I'm guessing something messed up with the campaign files, but I have no idea how to fix it.

    Did you disable UAC before installing CoW?

    Try running the mod without deleting any of the files mentioned in the post-install cleanup. Others have been known to delete critical files during this process.

    Yes I have, the first time I installed it I disabled it, and I haven't fiddled with it since.

    I've just tried re-installing it with the 5 packages download I mentioned in my previous post, this time without the post-install clean up. This allowed the game to boot up, but send me back to the singleplayer menu when I try to start a campaign. It might be random but I think it just also crashed when I tried to select Kislev as a faction to play as.

    I did replace the descr_missions.txt

    I just had a look in my warhammer.cfg file;

    [log]
    to = logs/warhammer_system.log.txt
    ;level = * error
    level = * trace
    ;level=*script* trace
    ;level = ai.ltgd trace

    Should that "error" be there?

    On the first install I actually also put the same files in the teutonic folders, and just launched the Teutonic campaign from the launcher. That worked fine for as long as it worked at all.

    Now trying to reinstall Call of Warhammer, I've noticed just installing the files and using the steam installer tool to launch Call of Warhammer from the Launcher doesn't work, it boots up and immediatly provides me with an "unspecified error"
