How to increase the duration of the battles?
Greetings to all.
I wonder if there is a method to increase the duration of the battles ... a guide on how to increase the stats of the units to make them more durable. I have started to increase 5 points of morale to the units, but I do not know how to do to other attributes such as attack, charge bonus, the defense, the lethality, the defensive ability ... I read the Aradan´s guide, but I am still very confused. I have also reviewed the Surrectum mod, but do not yet
Does anyone help me?
Is there a formula to add points to stats according to the kind of units?
Thanks

The quickest way is to add 1 extra hit point to all units, however you will find missile units will suffer, they need 50% increase to compostate.
You can use ctrl h to change all units at once,
stat_cost 1 [this is hit points stat]
stat_cost 2 [this will give each unit 2 hit points]
Remeber to then search for missile units and give them 50% more missile attack.
stat_pri 8, 4, arrow, 170, 30, missile, archery, piercing, none, 25 ,1
stat_pri 12, 4, arrow, 170, 30, missile, archery, piercing, none, 25 ,1 ;eg

Just lower the lethality in EDU , the last parameter at Stat_pri and stat_sec.

If you have played Roma Surrectum, their stats are wonderful for duration.
Having higher values for the attack and defence of each unit is a great fix.

The longest battles of ANY mod is undoubtedly SPQR, and that uses the 2 hit point system indicated in my post and the higher values as said by ithinkitsdead, the only downside is the upgrades to missiles, heavy and simples weapons by a max of 3 is now next to useless, and not used in SPQR.
