Using Mod in Alexander version of RS2?

Ok, I have just purchased Alexander and installed over a clean patched version of RTW 1.5. Now I installed RS2 and all works fine in CB and Campaign games, but when I try and play my Sparta One Turn mod in Custom Battle after choosing the armies and clicking start game the screen returns back to selection screen and this happens each time I choose any faction??

One good thing is that the Campaign Game works 100% with no problems!

I have searched this forum and cannot see any fixes on the Custom Battle issue? can anyone help? thanks

You cannot play any custom battles when playing a faction specific campaign. There is a 'battles only' option on the launcher.

Thanks mate +rep, I did not realize that this was a problem with Alexander? as you stated the Campaign game runs 100%

Ok so why do Custom Battle games work 100% in RTW.exe version then? is it the game mechanics or something that dont allow CB games to run in Alex?

The exe should not make any difference. I just know that faction specific campaign options should not allow you to use custom battles.

When taking screens for the various RSII previews I could not use the faction specifiic campaign options....
