    Default Syracuse Campaign

I've initially decided to test out the Syracuse campaign, but i've recently been having a few problems with CTD's which i will mention later.

Playing with all settings as high as they can go, Huge units, manging all settlements and no battle time limit.

The first thing i did when i started the campaign was to train two full stacks at Syracuse (I was quite surprised i could support so many troops with my one city) and after a few more turns declared war on Rome. One stack moved North to deal with a full Roman stack there whilst the other moved west. I won the battle against the roman stack with lighter casulaties than i expected and these were the results:

Then moved on to take Messana with the same army:

My army in the West did the same with Akragas:

This was the situation i managed to achieve before i started experiencing some problems with CTD's:

    And these were the rankings:

And now on to the CTD's, the first time it happened was in 540 A.U.C, Syracuse, Messana and Akragas were under my control and Lilybaeum was under siege. The only recruitment happening was that i was recruiting a new general in Syracuse and the only construction that finished was the regional focus thing in Messana.

I then re-loaded the save, but managed to get past that point without any problems, but then the same thing happened in 541 A.U.C, but this time the only thing recruiting was a bireme in syracuse, and the only thing finishing construction was a shrine of demeter in Akragas:

I don't know if this is trait related, but these are all the retinues and whatnot i got in previous turns without problems:

I don't know if i'm supposed to post CTD's in another thread somewhere, but i can move it if i need to and if you need more info just let me know.

Also is this trait correct, it seems a bit out of place with syracuse unless there is something wrong with my install .

    Hey Gen

I've been testing Syracuse (Alex, 0 turn, H/H) as well but can;t remember if I hit any CTD's during eth campaign. Right now I've been testing the Massila campaign but I was able to take all of Scily, sardina, Corisca, all of Southern italy and all other cities up to and inc. Rome. I had laid siege to Genoa and the city directly opposite and that's were I left the campaign. I need to check and see what the last saved game is as I cant remember if I stopped due to a CTD or not.

That last trait is most definitely out of place, and I have only seen that happen when someone loaded a saved game after the traits files were changed (thus messing up the line numbers RTW keeps track of).
This is getting frustrating and disheartening....I just can't seem to track down this these CTD's.

hmmm.... I'm currently having to re-install everything on my computer due to some problems ive been experiencing, but as soon as i've finished doing that i think i'm going to try and start a new syracuse campaign and see if i can figure out what was causing these ctd's. I'll be re-installing RTW and RS so just in case i messed something up with installation it won't happen again.
