Hardest faction to play in RTW
What do you guys find to be the hardest faction to play in RTW?
I would say Gaul because:
•It's a barbarian faction, so less city development and pretty mediocre troops.
•It has to fight the wrath of the Romans (usually the Julii)
•It has many other potential enemies: Britannia, Germania, Spain and possibly Carthage.

There is no difficult faction imo. There are easy factions but no difficult, you just got to know how to play with them.

I'd say it's kinda hard to play as Scotland in this game because you cannot play as them.

Not very hard to do for Spain. They first take the southern province of Carthage and after that, there is only the Gauls left whilst the Gauls have to fight the Julii, Spain, Brittania and Germania.

Seleucids, my all time favourite faction, by 245 BC, i have taken Rome, eliminated 2-3 Roman Factions, Destroyed the Greek Cities, taken Carthage, destroyed Egypt, and possess all world wonders.
As a little aside, the only time i've used cheats are toggle_fow for when i am modding, and oliphaunt for showing it to a friend.
hardest faction for me battlewise is Thrace, once you've fought yourself trough stack after stack of hoplites and phalangites, while avoiding scythian horse archers and the tough as nails dacians (my opinion) and you've established yourself in Greece, the now very powerful Rome dumps everything they have at Apollonia and gives you a hard time the next 50 turns, and you still have to fght back Scythia and Dacia.

I really think Parthia might be the hardest, they suck economically, their position sucks, and everyone hates them.

You just have to spam horse archers and fight your way to the sea as fast as you can.

Can't always afford em. And as for you Overlord_, the only reasonable cheat is toggle_fow.
