Mod name: The Long Road
What makes TLR special:
modded Campaign script at the heart, looking for more player involvement and management
TLR's unique county and kingdoms system.
-World divided into 100+ minor counties and kingdoms
-40 random choised events per county/kingdom based on the development of the nation, and activly ask for the players input in his realm
-Bonusses based on how regions are developed, Supporting the Flemish merchants will strenghten their position and more trade fleets and trade income will be generated!
-Area of recruitment, based not only on region but also on regional prosperity, Impovrished regions will have less units available, lower refresh rates, fewer recruitment slots and a lower amount of free upkeep slots!
And with the core of the system written, reviewed, rewritten, reviewed and approved over the last 6 months were ready to move on, adding more historical content and events that any mod has done before!
And we need you to do it!
Are you interested in history? know a lot about your neck of the woods? generally a creative person?
Have a bit of time to spare? and willing to learn ?
than this mod is for you!
What do we need:
Basically anyone with idea's can help, but to be complete!
basic scripter(s) (campaign script)
Not a lot of experience needed. Anyone with a bit of time and some feel for writing script can pick the required skills very fast.
Tutorials about the unique TLR 3.0 event system are available.
You'll be writing events and be an active part of how it will all intertwine
basic scripter(s) (EDB)
Experience needed, due to the heavily modded campaign script the TLR EDB is a bit different from the run of the mill version and will take considerably longer to mod.
Historic researcher/ text stringer
All the events and counties and kingdoms added would benifit from someone adding historic information. You would also be looking for additional idea's to add historical events to give regions in the world the right feel. Aswel as keeping the scripters in line with history.
Skinner.
Lots of regional units are being added so some recoloring would be nice. Nothing major unless you are offering ofcourse!
