    Default Path to War

I'm just wondering if anyone has ever seen the HBO original movie titled Path to War. It’s about the events that lead to the US involvement in Vietnam. It's basically from the eyes of LBJ and his staff like Robert McNamara, Clark Clifford, Dean Rusk, Mac Bundy, George Ball etc. Its one of the better movies that shows LBJ's frustration and compassion for the soldiers who were dying in the rice paddies of Vietnam and America's under estimation of the North Vietnamese / VC. But, then again maybe I'm just a Vietnam hack....

I did see that and I like it very much.

I also liked "Fog of War", which was about McNamara, but also about the use of statistical method for decision making since the Second World War.

Did you know that McNamara was responsible for seat belts, padded dashboards, and steering wheels that didn't impale the drive in an accident.
