    Default ETW engine to RTW

For example, retrain units or training system, I don't know to find this phrase but I would like I can retrain units out of towns. Without sending the units to the cities to retrain. It is hard, takes time and sometimes you forget that what a unit you need to return to the army. In addition, in a mod you can not take some local units recruited in a particular area to run around the map without having their numbers reduced during the fighting. With this engine retrain of ETW, I could take such units for example Babylonian hoplites to Europe and retrain them and not have to back to Asia. If you understand.
So, is it possible implement this ETW engine to RTW?

I'm not talking about the whole engine to implement in RTW, but only one part, retrain system. If it is possible, of course, and I really would like. This would facilitate the fight and make it more realistic. And not to constantly reinforce sending out of the cities one by one unit. I do not know is it realistically.

    Hm... how?

You canīt just take a bit from an Engine like a piece of cake. Unless you can really mod it, and then you would be one of CA.
Theoratically there must be a possibility to take ETW engine to RTW. But I doubt anyone will manage to do that.

In that case, I'd prefer to have the one in NTW. But I personally see it impossible. It would be almost like copy pasting a part of the ETW engine into the RTW one, and knowing how complex a game engine is, I see it pretty impossible, considering we aren't the ones that made the engine.

Modifying the .exe of either engine is illegal, just to let you guys know.

Plus, many of the features in ETW (garrisons in little towns, i.e not cities, technological development research as seen in ETW, hiring troops, not mercs, from generals in field, etc.) would either be downplayed or would be impossible to code into RTW without .exe modifications (which is illegal).

You could mimic the game via scripts and through extensive knowledge of coding, but you'll never get an exact replica.

    Why?
    A bomb's a bad choice for close-range combat.

Because you are modifying the engine itself. Once you change it, it is no longer the original exe you purchased and you are liable for stealing CA's work for your own OR copyright infringement.
