Multiplayer is better because you dont have to fight the brainless AI

Both are great but the Mp is better for me(May be because I never tried it)

for battles,mp ofc...you have to think for every move of yours and hve in made the consequenses.in sp battles the ai will never take advantage from wrong moves.but you cant move ur armies manage cities etc...so hotseat campaign!
