Can I re-enable UAC after installation?

I'm very paranoid about disabling UAC, because it's not a good idea to do so, and worse to keep it disabled. I really think this mod will be great, but I don't want to risk a $2000 pc just for one mod.

I'm a technonoob, so I only know the basics of UAC, but I do know it's essential to keeping your pc safe. But due to all the encouraging feedback for this mod, I thought okay, maybe if I disable if for like 5 min while installing(and disconnect from internet while it's off), then turn it back on after successful installation, all will be well...

So can I do that? Or do I need it off if I want to play...

Honestly, I have Windows 7 and I do not even own an anti-virus. Windows 7 has kept me safe with the firewall all the time. Just thinking while surfing the web and stay away from odd looking websites has kept me safe the last 2 years without an incident.

Also, to answer your question, yes. You can play it while it's on, it's just for installation.

I disabled UAC as soon I could, and I'm never enabling it again, Vista firewall and good Antivirus-software is enough.

I turned it on after installation, and everything was working fine. I'm a paranoid nut, though. And I'm sure you don't really need it on, since you already have enough protection.
