MED 2 Gold

ok, so i used to own med 2 but i lost 1 of the discs so i threw the rest away. Well now that im kind of getting bored with shogun2 already, im gonna get the med 2 gold from steam. Will i still be able to use mods with this version? Does the fact that i get it from steam effect mods in any way? Even though the game is only 10 bucks from steam id rather not throw that ten dollars away and not be able to use mods at all. Well thanks in advance

As I understand there are a number of mods that work with Steam. The best place to ask is in the M2 Modders Den - they'll have better answers and more precise instructions. Good luck!
