what do you think is the hardest faction to play

I cant stand eriador, their whole military is based off of regional recruitment. Plus you have to wait to convert the population once you become arnor.

Gondor has alot to mannage, and enemies on two fronts. their military is very slow in recruiting, making it hard to defend.

Dwarves! No cavalry and poor range units makes them the hardest faction for me to play.
I tend to rely on archers on skirm and cavalry to charge the enemy, nomather what faction I play

Dwarves and Goblins. For the Dwarves you have not much cavalry and slow troops. So flanking/chasing fleeing foes is hard. For the Goblins you have too many enemies.

OOTMM for me. I have never even come close to winning with them. No matter what strategy I choose to go with in the beginning, I always get overpowered by too many enemies on all sides.

.. elves to the west of them ,elves to the east, Dwarves to their front and men behind, into the mountains of death rode poor little orc-zies.

How to fix this;

(1) orcs should move double speed in the MM.
(2) Orcs should start with at least 2 Troll units
(3) stop elves breeding like rabbits!!!!! (VH/VH)

Defenitly Orcs of Misty Mountains. You don't have a good roster and not much variation in units (they need more units, all orc factions need some new units). Halberds are to slow and you get outranged. Before you have trolls you get attacked from al sides. And some settlements you can only garrison with snagas because they have not much population, you cant upgrade to large town, so you lose those easily. And you also dont make much money.
