I need help

Once I start the game it works fine till I get to the main menu. Where everything is in Russian despite the fact I downloaded it in English. When I click on the camapign (I think) the game goes off, and a error box appears just saying medieval total war 2. If I click on anything then game stops. This is not a probelm with medieval 2 as I have checked the others. The first few times I tried to start it, it was in English and I when I clicked on start it went off saying "Medieval Total War 2 has encountered an unspecficed error and will now close." I have the game on steam so it should be patched to 1.5. Please help me fix this.

Did you disable UAC and install CoW as an administrator?

Have you attempted to use the Steam Tool?

Done everything but the steam mod. Thanks for the help

Did you re-install CoW after disabling UAC?

Yes, but it still dosen't work.
