Ok... now for the stupids, like me

At first, I start the "pagan normans.exe", exit the game, than I start the "last kingdom.exe" start a new game, capture the two citys beside Roun, and finally Paris. Than I get a message, if I would convert to the christian religion. I accept, save and exit the game. And than I have to start the "baptized.exe", exit the game and start the "last kingdom. exe" again? Or is that the wrong turn^^?

    Cheers!

I'm playing the first campaign ever in this mod as Hordaland. Last night I got the Normans message. I'll try to explain it as simply as possible:

The Normans start out as pagans. Converting to Christianity changes their standing with other factions (or so the pop-up said) and changes the units they have available. This is done for historical realism.

    1) If it's your first time playing the mod, just use the The Last Kingdom icon (the round purple shield) to start the game.
    2) If you get the Normans message, save and exit the game completely. Double click the Baptized Normans icon. A black window will pop up, text will scroll a bit, then the game will start up automatically. Resume your campaign. The Normans will now be Christian and their roster will change.
    3) If you want to start a new campaign, double click the Pagan Normans icon in order to set the Normans back to their starting conditions.
    4) If you have started a second campaign and the Normans haven't converted yet in it and you want to resume the first campaign, you will have to exit the game and double click the Baptized Normans icon.

Keep track of whether the Normans have become Christian or not in each campaign you play, and run the appropriate file (either Pagan Normans or Baptized Normans) before resuming each campaign.

Also, someone said you need to hold Bayeux for them to become Christian. I haven't seen any Bayeux on the map.

This was a great idea and work-around, danova. I was giggling with glee when it happened and I realized what I had to do. Great mod. I still haven't fully figured out the colony stuff, but I will soon (nobody explain it, that's a spoiler, I'll get this on my own).

And great diagrams, Avetis. What program did you use to make them and how long did they take? Everyone should make diagrams like that for their AARs. And also just for fun, cause they look freaking awesome.
